For over ten
years Bhon Bhon has been hand crafting unique lampshades for the
world's finest homes and buildings. Our work is mostly with the
interior designers and architects in New York, Palm Beach,
California, Texas and in Europe.
Bhon Bhon
lampshades grace the homes of Mrs. Henry Kissinger, Mrs. Robert F.
Wagner, Ms. Tammy Grimes, as well as the Hartford State Capitol to
mention a few. The recent homes include Madonna 2001, Cindy Adams
New York Post 2001 and Jacqueline Kennedy 2002. Bhon Bhon's work has
appeared in Italian Vogue, House and Garden, Architectural Digest,
Interior Design and Elle Decor.
World
renowned designers have praised Bhon Bhon's work as "museum-worthy",
"intriguing", "each shade is a unique work of art", "beautifully
designed", "to put it simply, his work is unique".
By using
different-coloured silks for the lining and exteriors, Bhon Bhon
crafts shades that are uniquely able to create an ambience virtually
through the lighting alone.
Using only
the finest imported premier silks, such as Crepe de Chine, Chiffon,
Charmeuse and Habotai, malleable steel wire and fine accessories,
these shades are truly unique - each one hand-crafted and custom
designed to complement the room it will inhabit.
Our own
vision of lampshades in colours that will bring a room to life with
the goal of creating different and special interest in different
rooms through the use of subtle and carefully chosen attractive
colours is a vision that reminds us that lampshades do not have to
be casual accessories, but works of art in their own
right.
